1. About JM Forge Web Studio
JM Forge Web Studio provides custom website design, website development, visual design, content layout, bilingual website creation, photography-related web presentation and related digital services for small businesses and other clients.
2. Quotes and project scope
Prices shown on the website are starting prices and are not a binding quotation for every project. Before paid work begins, the scope, deliverables, price, payment milestones and expected timeline should be agreed in writing, normally by email, proposal or invoice.
3. Payments
Payments may be collected through an approved third-party payment processor such as Razorpay. Depending on the project, JM Forge Web Studio may request a deposit, milestone payments or a final balance. The exact payment schedule will be stated in the project proposal or invoice. Work may be paused if an agreed payment becomes overdue.
4. Client responsibilities
- Provide accurate business information, content, logos, images, approvals and access reasonably required for the project.
- Confirm that materials supplied to JM Forge Web Studio can lawfully be used.
- Review drafts and provide feedback within a reasonable time.
- Maintain any third-party accounts, subscriptions, domains or hosting services that are purchased in the client's name.
5. Timelines and revisions
Project timelines are estimates unless expressly agreed as fixed deadlines. Delays in receiving content, approvals, access or feedback may extend delivery dates. The number and type of included revisions will be described in the applicable project proposal.
6. Third-party services
Projects may use third-party platforms, hosting providers, domain registrars, fonts, APIs, payment providers or other services. Their availability, pricing and terms are controlled by those third parties. Unless specifically included in the quotation, third-party fees are paid separately by the client.
7. Intellectual property
Clients retain ownership of the original materials they provide. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, rights in the final custom deliverables created specifically for a client transfer after full payment, excluding third-party components, reusable tools, templates, know-how and pre-existing materials. JM Forge Web Studio may display completed work in its portfolio unless confidentiality is agreed in writing.
8. Acceptance and launch
A client should review the final deliverables before launch or handover. A website may be considered accepted when the client gives written approval, requests publication, or uses the final deliverable in production, subject to any project-specific acceptance terms.
9. Support and maintenance
Ongoing maintenance, updates, hosting management and post-launch changes are included only when stated in the relevant proposal. Additional work may require a separate quotation.
10. Prohibited use
Services must not be used to create or promote unlawful, fraudulent, infringing or deceptive content. JM Forge Web Studio may refuse or stop work where continuing the project would reasonably create legal, security or abuse concerns.
11. Liability
JM Forge Web Studio will provide services with reasonable care. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, JM Forge Web Studio is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, loss caused by third-party outages, or issues arising from client-provided content or instructions. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
12. Governing rules and mandatory rights
These terms are intended to operate under applicable Indian law for the service provider. Where a customer is entitled to mandatory rights under the laws of their country or region, those mandatory rights continue to apply.
13. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated when the services or legal requirements change. The effective date shown at the top identifies the current version.
